Don’t Type Emails While Driving, Do This

By now, we all should know the effects of texting/tweeting/Facebooking/emailing and driving, but why do so many people still do it.

Several police officers I know have said that it is the cause of many of the accidents they see.

I was on the way to work yesterday morning and I saw a young guy who was so into his cell phone that he kept swaying in the road and since he was driving so slowly, I was boxed in behind him until the other lane cleared.

Thoughts After My Near Death Experience

I haven't shared about this experience on my blog before, so it may be the first time many of my readers have heard about it.

When I was a sophomore in college, before switching to Information Systems, my major was Electrical Engineering. I had completed lots of my required courses, including 3 physics classes and 3 Calculus classes (yep, I'm a nerd).

What changed for me was HOW I went about teaching my piano students.

New Book Coming, Your Ideas Wanted

Ever since I wrote my book last year, I knew that it would not be the last book I would write.

Once I completed that book, I was much more comfortable with the entire process and it made me want to write as many books as I can.

I have since started blogging more regularly and my passion for writing has grown.

During the last three years, my wife and I have allowed our kids to participate in Lemonade Day.  We all have learned some valuable lessons about business and about life from the experience.

Storing Up For a Rainy Day

If you have ever had some type of financial emergency come up, you know the comfort that can come from having savings.

It may not take away all the pain of the situation, but it does ease your mind to have some reserves for a tough time.

Until recently, I understood the importance of storing financially for "rainy days", but I didn't understand how it could benefit my creative activities such as writing.
